Geen idee welke sport hier gespeeld werd maar u zag hier van buiten naar binnen twee F-35's, twee F-18 Super Hornets, twee F-15 Eagles en die waanzinnige supersonische, variable-sweep wing, langeafstandsbommenwerper de B1 Lancer (wiki). En je zou het dus niet zeggen omdat het zo'n slank ding is, maar die B1 is dus bijna even lang als een B-52 Stratofortress. Notabele afwezigen: de F-22's, want die hadden 'operationele gelegenheden elders'. Maar goed, het camerawerk uit het bovenstaande shot dan, want dat oogst nogal lof: "The camera operator here deserves all of the money. The switch to Charlie looks like it was on a gimbal or stedicam, but transitioning to the vertical shot would not work. Which tells me this was all by hand. To be that smooth with a handful of cinematic moves, my lord. Talent."

Was ook nog een hoop te doen om te half-time show. Puerto Ricaanse artiest Bad Bunny deed het in een taal die voor Spaans door moest gaan, maar die eigenlijk alleen zijn specifieke woonwijk verstaat. En in het Trumpiaanse tegenkamp lijkt de consensus dat de show, en in het verlengde daarvan Puerto Ricaanse cultuur, alle vervelendste elementen van 'black and gay culture' verenigt. Bad Bunny's (extreem saaie) slogan was, verwijzend naar ICE & Co, "The only thing more powerful than hate is love". En, zoals de enige correcte lezing van dit soort ultrakitisch luidt: "Every invocation of universal love is an excuse to indulge a very specific hatred." 

Mediarecensent D.J. Trump schrijft in zijn column: "The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country". Nou, aan Bunny's vertaalde tekst zal het niet gelegen hebben!

Er was overigens ook een 'alternatieve halftime show' door wijlen Charlie Kirks Turning Point USA. En die laat zich samenvatten in: Kid Rock playbackte en dan ook nog eens heel slecht.
