RABOBANK STOPT ALS SPONSOR WIELRENNEN
Breaking: de Rabobank stopt met sponsoring van het wielrennen. Dit in verband met de onthullingen rond dopinggebruik in de ploeg.
STATEMENT: It is with pain in our heart, but for the bank this is an inevitable decision. We are no longer convinced that the international professional world of cycling can make this a clean and fair (LOL dat zeggen dan bankiers he..) sport. We are not confident that this will change for the better in the foreseeable future.
UPDATE: De Rabobank is 100% eigenaar van de ploeg en voert al 16 jaar directie. Met andere woorden: is dit een easy way out?

David Millar: Dear Rabobank, you were part of the problem. How dare you walk away from your young clean guys who are part of the solution. Sickening.
